· What is NMACS?

NMACS is the Network Monitor and Control System designed and implemented by ISS to provide large-scale satellite control capabilities to the United States Department of Defense. The NMACS system was developed in conjuction with Northrop Grumman’s SATCOM division in Baltimore, MD.

· What is a Human Physiological Simulator?

A Human Physiological Simulator is a software application designed and implemented by ISS that is capable of producing realistic, realtime data that accurately approximates medical waveforms generated by the human body, such as EEG, EKG, GSC, EDA, TRA, and ARA. The resulting data can be used to test medical monitoring devices.
